Memorial Day Fun

We were planning to head to the pool on Memorial Day, but we went on Saturday, and the water was freezing!  Jim didn't seem to be bothered by the cold water, but it wasn't much fun for Mark or I to be in the pool chasing after him, so we decided to have some water fun at home instead!  And lots of fun was had by all.  The kids had a blast, and the grown-ups got to enjoy watching them and a couple of tasty beverages.

Charleston Vacation

We spent a week down in Charleston - and had a blast!!!  We rented a house on the Isle of Palms, which was right on the ocean - and a great way to spend the week.  We were able to spend a couple days at the house, on the beach...and then a couple of days going into Charleston to check things out there.  The boys had a great time, and I think it's safe to say everyone that came had a great time!  I'll recap our vacation via pictures!  Lots of pictures ahead - and really only pictures of the fun we had at the beach & at the house!  I didn't bring my camera with me when we went into the city.

We celebrated Jim's 4th birthday while we were there - he loved it!  He'd been asking for a planes cake with Dusty and Skipper, so that's what he got!

He was so adorable - I loved it!  He was singing along with everyone else, and so very excited!
