Charleston Vacation

We spent a week down in Charleston - and had a blast!!!  We rented a house on the Isle of Palms, which was right on the ocean - and a great way to spend the week.  We were able to spend a couple days at the house, on the beach...and then a couple of days going into Charleston to check things out there.  The boys had a great time, and I think it's safe to say everyone that came had a great time!  I'll recap our vacation via pictures!  Lots of pictures ahead - and really only pictures of the fun we had at the beach & at the house!  I didn't bring my camera with me when we went into the city.

Here's our set-up on the beach - we pretty much had the area to ourselves, which was very nice!!!
The boys having fun playing in the sand!
While everyone looks on, or helps to build them sand castles!
They loved playing with their boats in the hole we made for them!
We celebrated Jim's 4th birthday while we were there - he loved it!  He'd been asking for a planes cake with Dusty and Skipper, so that's what he got!
He was so adorable - I loved it!  He was singing along with everyone else, and so very excited!
An attempt at a family picture - nice smile Jim!
Having a lick of the frosting!  Ben is joining in on the action too!
Cutting the cake takes a lot of concentration!
Hanging out playing games one night - boys thought it'd be fun to climb all over the table!
Again, some more game playing fun!
Just relaxing with a happy Ben!
Getting ready to go into Charleston!
 They have some awesome grandparents!!!!
Love that Jim will find a spot wherever he is comfortable to play trucks!
We did a little Easter Egg hunt one day - here is Jim showing Ben what to do!
Brothers & their Easter baskets!
Another one of our beach days - it was pretty windy!!
Papa helping to dig a nice big hole to play in!
Jim loved the water!!!!  If it wasn't so cold, he'd of spent all day in there.
And Ben loved the hole that Papa dug for him!
There's a brief recap of our vacation via pictures - there was a lot more fun had that wasn't captured here.  It was a great week!!!!
