My family came down last weekend to celebrate Jim's 2nd birthday. It was great that they all came back down after they already made a trip to meet Baby Ben! We celebrated Jim's birthday on Saturday - and had a great time!!!
We ended up having our 'Easter' breakfast Saturday morning. We were going to do it after Church on Sunday - but considering that would had been around 10-11:00...and we were planning to eat our lunch around 1:00 - we figured we would do breakfast on Saturday. After breakfast, Grandma let him open one of his presents (which by the way Jim gets very excited about opening a present!!!) which was a ride on excavator, which he loves!!!
He spent some time outside after that. His new favorite spot is on the side of the house, where he loves playing in the mulch!
I made Jim's cake again this year (or I should say my mom made it, I decorated it). This years theme was a construction cake. Jim loves everything trucks, and construction, so I thought it was perfect for him. And he loved it!!! We let him 'drive' the equipment on the cake which he had a blast with!
We decided to order pizza for dinner - which was a great idea! We were so busy during the day, it would have been pretty hectic to have made something for dinner. Jim got to open his presents - which he had a blast with. He received a lot of great presents!!! Thank you everyone!!!

Jim had a great 2nd birthday celebration!!! After all the excitement, he got to hang out with Grandma and Papa while all of us went into Old Town for a ghost tour...and some drinks at Pat Troy's!!!
