Big Boy Bed

Last night Jim slept in his big boy bed for the first time.  And he did great!!!!  There was nothing to worry about.  We had been talking to him about it, and would go in there saying it was his new room.  So when the time actually came, he was ready.  (We weren't sure at first when we were going to make the switch, since Greg was living with us, and we were planning to use Jim's new room for family when they came to visit us with the new baby.  But with Greg being gone decided to make the switch when Ashley was down here. 

Last night we put together the bed rails on his bed.  I was thinking we only needed one, and we would push the bed up against the wall for the other side - but the headboard hit the wall before the mattress did, so that didn't work.  Ashley & I ran to Babies 'R Us to pick up another one. 

Here is Jim - the big helper, helping Mark put everything together.

Jim was very nice to share his bed with his baby brother!

Last night he laid down in his big boy bed with no problems at all, went right to sleep!  And then slept through the night.  Let's hope it continues to stay this way!!!
